In-Person Workshops

Plan for Success
Start your fall term off on the right track. This workshop will take you through the important steps of planning and organizing your studies for the new semester along with some general tips to jumpstart your success. Please bring the syllabi for your courses and your planner for this interactive seminar.

Time Management
This workshop will cover how to prioritize assignments and day-to-day tasks, and provide tools to help participants manage their time based on their personal style.

Study Skills Boot Camp
The broad scope of Study Skills Boot Camp is designed to present tried and true tools to get the most out of your PItt education, from your first day through graduation. This workshop covers methods for better note taking, studying, test taking, and post-exam analysis.

Goal Setting

The Goal Setting workshop guides participants through the creation of and ways to act upon meaningful goals. Throughout the workshop, participants will utilize the methods discussed in order to work through the creation of their own SMART goal.

Overcoming Test Anxiety
Join us for a seminar given by the University Counseling Center which is designed to help participants discover ways to work through their anxiety when they are studying for and taking exams. 


Finals Boot Camp
This workshop covers strategies to do your best during finals, including how to manage your time, specific study skills to use, and ideas for minimizing stress during finals.

Individual Academic Coaching

One-on-one Academic Coaching sessions are also available for the following topics:

  • Planning for mid-terms and finals
  • Reading strategies
