HIST 0671 Afro-American History 2

This course presents a rare and limited opportunity to have a specialized small-group experience exploring the specific issue of racial integration. It will meet as a seminar and all students will produce a research-based essay on a related topic. If you're interested in understanding ongoing (and often contentious) conversations about race and American culture, then this class is a good fit. The award-winning instructor of this course has extensive experience in teaching about teh issues of race and the American experience. First- and second-year students should contact the instructor before registering for the course. This course fulfills the Writing-intensive (W) and Historical Change requirements.
