Students currently enrolled or interested in enrolling in the Dietrich School or the College of General Studies can access our services in different ways depending on their preferences. Please see below for more information on how to meet with an advisor as well as our in-person office hours.
Schedule an In-Person or Virtual Appointment
Current students can schedule an appointment with their advisor using Pathways (Navigate Student), either by downloading the Navigate Student app or using the link to the website below.

Students can also contact their assigned academic advisor directly via email or phone. Your assigned academic advisor is listed on your PeopleSoft/HighPoint CX dashboard.
On-Call Advising (In-person or Virtual)
This option is best for students with general or quick questions, or for current Pitt students who are interested in Dietrich School or CGS academic programs. Dietrich School academic advisors are available in-person at our offices in 201 Thackeray Hall or by phone at (412) 624-6444. CGS academic advisors are available to meet with you virtually using the Zoom link below.
Please note that on-call advisors do NOT lift "Academic Advisement Required" holds from your student account. Students should schedule an individual meeting with their assigned advisor in order to have their holds lifted before enrolling.

Mondays: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Tuesdays: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Wednesdays: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Thursdays: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM and 2:00 - 5:00 PM
Fridays: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
CGS On-Call Advising for Spring 2024:
Monday through Thursday: 3:00 - 4:00 PM
