Undergraduate Mentor

Hi everyone! I’m a third-year Chemistry major at the University of Pittsburgh, specializing in Biology with a certificate in Global Health. I’m passionate about both academics and research in the Wipf Group in the Department of Chemistry, focusing on organic synthesis. In Summer 2024, I completed the University of Pittsburgh Department of Chemistry Organic Division Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship. During this time, I worked full-time in the lab, leading a project to develop small molecules and synthetic routes for visualizing protein aggregation in viscosity-sensitive diseases. This experience deepened my technical expertise and problem-solving skills, culminating in a scientific poster presentation at the Wipf Group Reunion and Symposium. Currently, I’m overseeing a project aimed at developing and synthesizing small-molecule inhibitors to inhibit a key protein-protein interaction in tumor pathology. I’m always happy to connect and share insights about research—feel free to reach out!
