Your advising appointment is going to be an active collaboration, so come prepared, ready to engage in the process. We really want to get to know you, so be sure to share information about yourself and your goals.
Be sure to:

- Determine and take the placement tests that you need before your scheduled advising appointment.
- Review the information about your intended major, or if undecided, look over the range of opportunities.
- Add a few of your anticipated courses to your shopping cart. When you meet with your Advisor, together you will discuss your schedule options to help ensure that what you choose to take is appropriate for your first term.
- Write down any questions you might have so you can be sure to get them answered.
